Create a new safety observation point as draft

This article is about the EY Catalyst Smart Daily Management application.

1. Launch the Safety Incident Elimination module; or select the hamburger button in the top menu panel and select Daily Management > Safety Incident Elimination.
2. Ensure that you have selected the correct asset from the context menu. Select +Point.
3. To use the safety observation point in a behavioral observation system task, leave Use in BOS Task selected.
4. Enter a title and description for the safety observation point in the Title and Description boxes.
5. Select a category from the Category drop-down list.
6. Use the Color slider to select a color associated with the safety observation point.
7. Next, assign the safety observation point an order in the task sequence. To do so, enter a numerical value in the Sequence box. By default, the observation point is assigned the next available number in the sequence based on the existing list of observation points.
8. If the safety observation point relates to another incident, select it from the Related Incidents drop-down list.
9. You can choose to upload media files to illustrate the safety observation point:
10. Select Image, Video, or Document to upload a relevant file.
11. Using the file navigation system of your web browser, navigate to the files you want to upload, select the files, and click Open.
12. Select Save Changes to save the draft safety observation point.
