Edit a draft safety observation point

This article is about the EY Catalyst Smart Daily Management application.

1. Launch the Safety Incident Elimination module; or select the hamburger button in the top menu panel and select Daily Management > Safety Incident Elimination.
2. Ensure that you have selected the correct asset from the context menu. Select the Observations tab.
3. Scroll down to the Observation Points table.
4. Select Next and Previous to navigate the list of safety observation points; or type the page number in the Page box if you know which page you want to view.
5. Select the row of the safety observation point you want to edit.
6. You can edit any of following details:
7. You can edit the title, description, and sequence number for the safety observation point in the Title, Description, and Sequence boxes.
8. You can select a different category from the Category drop-down list.
9. You can use the Color slider to associate a different color with the safety observation point.
10. Next, assign the safety observation point an order in the task sequence. To do so, enter a numerical value in the Sequence box. By default, the observation point is assigned the next available number in the sequence based on the existing list of CILs.
11. If the safety observation point relates to another incident, select it from the Related Incidents drop-down list.
12. You can choose to upload media files to illustrate the safety observation point. Select Image, Video, or Document to upload a relevant file. Using the file navigation system of your web browser, navigate to the files you want to upload, select the files, and click Open.
13. Select Save Changes to save the draft safety observation point.
