Create new Quality Incident Severity as draft

This article is about the EY Catalyst Smart Daily Management application.

1. Launch the Quality Incident Elimination module; or select the hamburger button in the top menu panel and select Daily Management > Quality Incident Elimination.
2. The Quality Incident Elimination module opens with the Incidents tab selected. Ensure that you have selected the correct asset from the context menu.
3. Scroll down to the Incident Severities table.
4. Select +Severity.
5. The Quality type is selected by default and cannot be changed. To create a safety incident severity, use the Safety Incident Elimination module.
6. Specify a name and a description for the quality incident severity in the Name and Description box.
7. Assign the incident severity a severity level by entering a numerical value in the Severity Level box.
8. Select Save Changes.
9. Once you have created a draft quality incident severity, you need to submit it for review. After you have specified all the details for the CIL, complete the steps in the article, Submit a draft quality incident severity for review.
