Record an ad-hoc safety observation

This article is about the EY Catalyst Smart Daily Management application.

1. Launch the My Tasks application on the Smart Daily Management home screen; or select the hamburger button in the top menu panel and select My Tasks.
2. Ensure that you have selected the correct asset from the context menu. Select +Observation for the Safety Risk.
3. In the Record Safety Observation page, select Title and select a safety observation.
4. The Description box automatically populates with the description for the safety observation.
5. The Observer box displays the current user's name.
6. Select Asset and select the specific asset that the observation applies to.
7. Enter a description of the observed behavior in the Description of Behavior box.
8. If the safety observation is compliant, select Compliant (Y/N).
9. If you provided feedback about the observed safety risk, select Feedback provided.
10. Select Save Changes.
