Create a new safety incident severity as draft

This article is about the EY Catalyst Smart Daily Management application.

1. Launch the Safety Incident Elimination module; or select the hamburger button in the top menu panel and select Daily Management > Safety Incident Elimination.
2. The Safety Incident Elimination module opens with the Incidents tab selected. Ensure that you have selected the correct asset from the context menu.
3. Scroll down to the Incident Severities table.
4. Select +Severity.
5. The Safety type is selected by default and cannot be changed. To create a quality incident severity, use the Quality Incident Elimination module.
6. Specify a name and a description for the safety incident severity in the Name and Description box.
7. Assign the incident severity a severity level by entering a numerical value in the Severity Level box.
8. Select Save Changes.
