Edit scheduled defect

This article is about the EY Catalyst Smart Daily Management application.

1. Launch the Defect Logging module; or select the hamburger button in the top menu panel and select Daily Management > Defect Logging.
2. Ensure that you have selected the correct asset from the context menu.
3. Scroll down to the Defects table and locate the defect you want to edit. Select Next and Previous to navigate the list of defects; or type the page number in the Page box if you know which page you want to view.
4. Select the row for the defect you want to edit.
5. To change the defect priority, select an appropriate option from the Priority drop-down list.
6. To change whether the defect is mechanical, electrical or other, select Category and select either Mechanical, Electrical or Other.
7. Indicate which category of component the defect refers to by selecting the appropriate option from the Component Category drop-down list.
8. You can upload additional media files:

• • Select Image, Video, or Document to upload a relevant file.
  • Using the file navigation system of your web browser, navigate to the files you want to upload, select the files, and click Open.

9. Once you have made all the required changes, select Save Changes.
