Add a KPI definition

This article is about the Smart Deployment Console.

1. Select the Performance tab.
2. Right-click anywhere in the KPI List pane and select Add New KPI Definition.
3. The Add KPI Definition contains the following settings:
• Area defined – Displays the area defined for the KPI.
• Category Name – Select the Category Name list and choose the relevant performance category from the drop-down menu.
• Default Language – Displays the default language of the organization.
• Name – Enter a name for the KPI.
• Bottom (Bad) – This value equates to 0% and indicates poor performance.
• Top (Good) – This value equates to 100% and indicates excellent performance.
• UOM Code – Enter a unit of measure code (e.g. '%').
• UOM Description – Enter a unit of measure description (e.g. 'Percentage').
• Comment – Optional; may be used to provide additional information.
4. Select Save to confirm.
5. Next the default stage rules are displayed, which you may edit if necessary.
6. Scroll down and, if applicable, complete the additional language boxes.
7. Select Save, then select Close.
