Edit a KPI definition

This article is about the Smart Deployment Console.

1. In the Area Tree, select the area where you want to edit the KPIs.
2. Select the Performance tab.
3. In the KPI List pane, select the KPI you want to edit.
4. Select the Details tab in the KPI Details pane.
5. Next select the Edit button (the pencil symbol on the right of the KPI Details pane).
6. In the Edit KPI Definition dialog box, edit any of the following settings as required:
• Area defined – Displays the area defined for the KPI.
• Category Name – Displays the performance category name.
• Default Language – Displays the default language of the organization.
• Name – Displays the KPI name.
• Bottom (Bad) – This value equates to 0% and indicates poor performance.
• Top (Good) – This value equates to 100% and indicates excellent performance.
• UOM Code – Displays the unit of measure code or symbol (e.g. '%').
• UOM Description – Displays a description of the unit of measure (e.g. 'Percentage').
• Comment – Optional; may be used to provide additional information.
7. Select Save to confirm.
8. Next the default stage rules are displayed, which you may edit if necessary.
9. Scroll down and complete the additional language boxes, if applicable.
10. Select Save, then select Close.
